Our Story

Cameron Shouppe, our Founder and CEO, has been in and around contracting for 25 years. In 2015, he and Sean Shapiro co–founded a roofing company with a clear mission: bring modern systems and smart strategy to a traditional trade.

Within six years, they had grown the company to over $25 million in annual revenue and more than 100 employees, one of the fastest- growing roofing businesses in the United States. In 2021, they sold the company to private equity.
After exiting the business, Cameron set out to build something new, a software company built for roofers, by roofers. As Al began to rapidly evolve, he immersed himself in its world, exploring how Al could solve the very problems contractors deal with everyday.

But it quickly became clear: Al is only powerful when it's grounded in real-world expertise. Generic tools wouldn’t cut it.

In 2024, Cameron sourced a world class technology team with deep AI experience, to begin developing what would become Rivety. Together, they started testing early prototypes with real contractors and amazing results quickly followed.
